BackgroundThe SkyQuery.net proved a concept of using SOAP services to perform distributed astronomical queries. This effort utilised Microsoft.NET technology. Since its inception other SOAP technologies have come a long way. This project aims to enhance and 'OPEN' SkyQuery by adding new features and no longer requiring .NWT technology to implement nodes.
